The Spirit of Texas FirePit

The "come and take it" themed firepit finds it's roots in the Texas revolution against Mexico.  American colonists in the Battle of Gonzales refused to give a cannon back to Mexican soldiers that they had received in 1831 to fend off Natives in the area. The symbol has come to symbolize defiance against someone or something looking to grind you down or deprive you of a right or privilege. Like the original design, the CATI firepit is 18 x 22 x 12 high and folds down to a 22 x 12 x 1 high package.  It features the coal retaining design with an air breath grate.
